A composer raised on strings and stories
Dimitris Papageorgiou is a Greek composer for film, TV and media, based on the island of Salamina. He played guitar by ear at five and formed his first band at ten. Since 2016 he has produced more than 210 albums, from epic trailer and Western to klezmer, jazz, rock and world music.
On every album he composes, plays every instrument, arranges, orchestrates, mixes and masters. His work is heard in The First Omen, My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3, Apple TV+’s The Reluctant Traveler and on BBC, Netflix and Hulu. In 2026 he joined Bleeding Fingers Music as a freelance composer.
